The United Nations has declared it feels concerned about Northern Iraq’s periodically being bombarded.

NEW YORK- There is no explanation in the statement of EÅŸref Gazi, special representative of Iraq appointed by the UN Secretary-General, about where the bmbardment is coming from. It was stated that the UN authority, after he made the necessary negotiation with the parties, wanted the bombardment should be stopped right away. In the statement, “Such situations cause unrest in Iraqi public.” was said. That the UN departments have determined the needs of the local public affected by the bombardment and have provided several hundreds of displaced families with tents, blankets, medical drugs and food was also declared.
