Leader of Sunni Clan killed

In Iraq, one of the Sunni leaders Sheikh Abdürsettar Ebu RiÅŸa, the leader of Sunni Clan struggling against Al-Qaeda, has been killed.

 

BAGHDAT- According to the police information, Ebu RiÅŸa, the leader of the alliance of clans backing Iraqi government and the USA powers, lost his life as a result of a bomb exploding near his home by the wayside. At the attack in Ramadi, two guards of RiÅŸa have also died.      

 

Bush, the US president, met with RiÅŸa last week in his visit to Iraq.

 

News of violence is continuing to come from all over Iraq. 10 Iraqis were killed due to bomb attacks in Baghdat and Zayuna.  

 

Iraq branch of Al Qaeda, on the other hand, broadcast the views of pilot killed in F16 aircrash last year and it was alleged that this aircrash was caused by Islamist militants.
