A Turkish doctor named Serdar Bulun has developed a drug for uterine tumours (myoma). Bulun has realized his research at the Reproductive Biology Division of Northwestern University in Chicago with a team of eight scientists.
FDA has certified the anti-uterine tumour drug and now it is being sold around the US.
Bulun, “A number of drugs called anti-progestin have been developed by the team. These can cure uterine tumours without causing any adverse effects, such as irregular periods, infertility, miscarriage. We have made our experiments on myoma cells and rats and finally on humans. Results were brilliant for medicine”.
