
NASA, seeking new astronauts, promising a salary 60.000 $ per month, is planning to start a Class for Astronauts in 2009. Graduating from Engineering, Science or Mathematics departments is necessary in order to be an astronaut. Salaries are between 60.000 and 130.000 $. Your chance is high if you have a flying experience in a jet plane.
WASHINGTON- NASA has not been seeking candidates wishing to be astronauts. But the agency is going to employ candidates of pilots, astronauts, teachers and scientists.
In order to elaborate the details of job opportunities to be offered to those wanting to be an astronaut in the future, NASA held a press conference.
NASA has given a start to accept the applications for 2009 Class for Candidate Astronauts. Those whose applications are accepted will be subject to a 6-month probation period. List of Successful Candidates will be declared at the begining of 2009. Selected candidates will be subjet to a training programme in 2009 summer.
NASA selected 14 candidates – 11 Americans and others from 3 different countries- in 2004. And this time, again they declared that they would choose 10 – 15 candidates.
