Greek Administration of Southern Cyprus has invited Turkey to bring the legal side of Cyprus issue to the Hague Tribunal.
NICOSIA- Spokesman of the Greek Administration Vasilis Palmas, “If Turkey believes that its military presence in Cyprus stems from international agreements, then it can accept to resolve the legal side of the issue in Hague Tribunal” said.
Ankara, reacting to the statement by Tasos Papadopulos who said their sole enemy was Turkish Armed Forces, has emphasized that the presence of Turkish soldiers in the Island results from the rights of Turkey as homeland and guarantor country. Turkey have not answered such calls coming from the Greeks before.
