7 arrests on September 11 bomb found in Ankara

Investigations still continue regarding the mini-bus loaded with explosives seized in September 11, 2007 in Ankara. 7 persons relating the issue were arrested in Van.
ANKARA- As a result of the operations started in Van with the instructions of Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, 7 persons who were considered to be responsible for the bomb event in Ankara were taken under detainment in Baskale District of Van. 

Illegal organization ties of these persons are being investigated and inquiries still continue.
In September 11 Tuesday, 300 kg. TNT and sodium nitrate in sacks, together with 280 kg- bomb setup materials had been captured in a mini-bus whose plate was counterfeit in a car park in Kurtulus, Ankara. The bomb could be deactivated as a result of a 2-hour effort.
